Web Hosting can be an expensive business, well I have found a web host that is extremely cheap and offers everything you need.
3ix Hosting offers many different packages, ranging from just 59p ($1) a month all the way to £4.72 ($8). The cheapest package is perfect for most people, it offers you 100MB of webspace and 10GB monthly bandwidth, you can have up to 20 sub domains and 20 email accounts. The control panel is based on the highly popular cPanel which is used by a lot of web hosts.
The £4.72 plan gives you 2GB of webspace, unlimited bandwidth, unlimited sub domains and email accounts and you can host up to 10 websites in the one account.
You can pay semi annually or annually (one month free) via paypal or credit/debit card. The reason why it is so cheap is because there is very little administration needed to process credit/debit cards and paypal.
Obviously, you will need a domain name, if you have one then you can just transfer it, if you don’t then you can purchase one for about £6.50 or $12.95 a year which is cheap compared to some services.
So, overall the service is good, you get all the tools you need through the cPanel although there is no place to login on the homepage which would have been a good idea. It took less than half an hour to get online, and now I can be found at www.simnorcomputing.com, and how much does it cost me for everything? Only £13 per year ($26).

there are much better webhosting providers than that. even with better support, speed and uptime.
i would recommend hostgator because its the biggest hosting company and offers the best support and server speed for 10 bucks a month with 100gb space and 1000gb traffic (payable through paypal)

3ix is a great webhost. They have a great support service 24/7/365 with a great value for money!

You get what you pay for. My experience with them has been frequent downtimes due to server overloads (probably, since requests for reports on reasons for downtime have been repeatedly ignored ); live support is available, but response is slow and often laughingly poor.

Not for mission-critical sites or data. Don’t use for site backups. I use it to store stuff and development work but nothing I need to access at a moment’s notice. Definitely for beginners and those not needing a lot of uptime (although guaranteeing 99% uptime, it’s more like 50-60% uptime)

I have never come across such an appalling company in my life on the nett! I have 2 sites and they were down on a daily basis! I contacted their 24 hr support and the level of English was a joke! I had to question this persons ability to understand as I had no idea what he was writing but then received lots of sarcasm. By the way I write English educational books! This wasn’t typos but grammar! Where are these people as I noticed they have a telephone number in Thailand!
My question is: I have seen so many complaints and wonder how they could be served a lawsuit? They quite simply do not honor their contracts and should be shut down …. full stop!

I’ve had few problems with their hosting until recently. In the last week connections have been poor when updating my site. I hope they get it worked out soon.

As usual price is low and attractive, but uptime is crap, and servers are slow and semi-responsive at best. Boasting a 6gbit total bandwidth is a joke, more likely a lie than anything. I have taken away my main hosted domain and left only the unused on it.
dont ever trust the loading speed and uptime of the official website. its totally different with ur host server.

hahahha, i believe you have got some income from 3ix hosting. I didn’t see any thing you talk about… I have my site on 3ix… problems begin and never end, when they said solved it.. that means for 2 hours….
